The Experience Ledger asks the player to select a set of roles that covers a required period continuously. Each role contributes dates and tags. The requirements include a technology that could not have existed for the full period, so a literal interpretation is impossible.
The solution is to treat the résumé as a document optimized for the reader rather than a factual chronology. The puzzle is deliberately uncomfortable: it makes the player participate in the same narrative compression that the game criticizes. The selected roles still have to satisfy visible coverage rules.
This mechanic is part of the free core game and uses entirely fictional employers and dates.
