Corporate Legends is a planned editorial series about the recurring patterns behind real recruitment stories: restructuring, return-to- office mandates, surveillance, layoffs, and the language used to describe them. It is not a launched game, DLC, or product, and no company dossier is published yet.

Corporate Legends is in development. It is not playable, not purchasable, and not available for pre-order. Draft company records are intentionally excluded from public routes and sitemaps.

What it will be
Each dossier will examine a verifiable, source-linked recruitment pattern at a real company. The game layer will turn that pattern into an original, clearly fictional scenario: a fictional candidate, a fictional manager, and an interactive mechanic that makes the contradiction playable. A company page will not be a copy of a news article, a Reddit thread, or a recruiter email.
Real companies will be referenced as subjects of parody and commentary, not as partners, sponsors, clients, or endorsers. No corporate logo will be used to imply a relationship. Every dossier will carry a visible fiction/parody disclosure.
Publication gates
A company page becomes indexable only when all of the following are true: an editor has approved the original content, legal review has approved the dossier and disclosure, sources are listed with dates and links, the source check date is recorded, and the page contains meaningful original analysis rather than a summary of someone else’s post. Draft, review, and archived records return 404 and are omitted from the sitemap.
- No unverified allegations presented as fact.
- No verbatim Reddit submissions or unauthorized bulk scraping.
- No invented recruiter emails, quotes, endorsements, or rankings.
- No real-company logos implying sponsorship.
- No AI-generated page published without human editorial review.
What is available now
The free campaign, base jobs, daily challenge, and optional Corporate Nightmare expansion are the current playable product. Corporate Legends, DLC2, and DLC3 are planned only. You can read what UNHIREABLE is or the mechanics field guide without waiting for the editorial series.
