ATS Calibration is a two-score puzzle. Each keyword changes the applicant tracking system score and the human readability score in different directions. Adding enough keywords can satisfy the parser while making the application unreadable to the person who supposedly makes the decision.
The interface shows both scores and the current keyword set. The goal is not to maximize one metric; it is to find a combination that clears both thresholds. The joke is structural: the system rewards language that the human panel punishes, and neither side owns the contradiction.
This mechanic appears in the free core game. It is not a real ATS and does not evaluate a player’s actual résumé.
What it tests
- Trading off two competing metrics instead of optimizing one
- Recognizing that machine and human incentives are not aligned
- Reading the effect of each choice before adding another keyword
Where to play it
