We are looking for a strategic risk leader to prevent cross-functional failure while preserving the conditions that create innovation, accountability, and deniable outcomes. You will partner with leaders to identify risks before they are documented, and remove them from the risk register.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities

Facilitate pre-mortems for meetings that have not happened yet.
Define acceptable failure thresholds and adjust them after every failure.
Reduce incident recurrence by reducing incident reporting.
Present the risk dashboard to the board in a way that suggests control.

What we need

Requirements

8+ years in risk, compliance, strategy, or explaining dashboards.
Experience preventing failure without preventing failure.
Familiarity with post-hoc rationalization at a director level.
A calm demeanor in the presence of preventable catastrophe.
